Description
Musou Black Fabric.
Musou Black Fabric. Format A4, From Japan.
The Blackest Fabric in the World.
MUSOU BLACK FABRIC KIWAMI
By vertically arranging specialized rayon piles with proprietary black dyes and weaving patterns, they have achieved the ideal three-dimensional structure in which stray light is absorbed between the piles.
As a result, it achieves a world-class light absorption rate of 99.9% in the visible light spectrum, making it not only our blackest product but also the World’s Blackest Fabric!
From photography to industry and research purposes, this fabric can easily be used by anyone for a variety of purposes.
Two versions of this product are available. The standard version is back coated with resin for durability. A non-back coated, softer version is also available.
Please note that this fabric specializes in visible light and is not suitable for projects involving infrared light. Our IR Flock Sheet is still the best solution for infrared light absorption.
Usage Precautions.
GENTLE CLEANING ONLY.
Do not leave any heavy objects on the fabric as it will likely result in a drop in light absorption performance.
As a drawback of the flocking process, little bits of particulates may be generated due to pile-loss, so it may not be suitable in environments where cleanliness is a top priority such as internal parts of precision equipment.
In the case of wrinkles or creases, indirectly applying steam and brushing with a soft brush may restore its performance.
This fabric does not have infrared light suppressing properties.
